Since 2001 the Vertigo
has been in the stable’s of some of the strongest national
pilots in the world, e.g. Germany, Slovenia, Japan, Austria etc…
A new sail cut!
The leading edge has a
deeper cut and flows around to become more of the batton sail.
Through a new profile in the last top sail batten( in the glass
fibre tip area), the glider has become deeper giving more
active support with steering. With a new glass fibre tip
rod we have achieved a clean, fine tensioned leading edge.
The double sail has a
re-designed straighter finishing cut giving a 93% coverage of
the top sail. The 12 built-in flairs with the Vertigo 15
and 10 with the Vertigo 13 give the bottom sail construction an
optimal profile.
The new designed
batton profile with 12 individual profiles has been especially
designed for the Vertigo. The combination of a second nose
batton gives a tensioned sail providing enhanced
steering/handling. The Vertigo is also available with the
new and robust ‘Dinax PP’, the full mylar version. For
optimal performance and aerodynamics the bottom sail is finished
with a neoprene cover where the A frame meets the keel.
